1. Clear PVC pockets
We have removed the polyester mesh and replaced it with durable clear windows which creates many positives. You can now see clearly which items you have stored in each pocket and the items are kept dry and protected. The new material also makes the overall shape of the bag stiffer which adds to the comfort when carrying an under loaded bag.
2. Hanging loops & D-rings.
The hanging loops have moved to the side. This area is much more stable than the front and makes more sense when clipping on heavier accessories such as the FS Dropnet Xtra! The side webbing is also perfectly measured to accommodate an FS Recon plier pouch. The D-rings are now strategically positioned on the bottom corners and center back. The side rings are perfect for hanging your FS Dropnet or FS Hydrate clip and the center clip is purposely build to accommodate your FS Lite Mat! The two straps on the shoulder area offer an alternative position for your FS Recon Pliers, which can be clipped on so they are always to hand.
3. Excess strap wraps.
Once your size is set you can now remove the excess strap which usually just gets in the way. It simply be rolled up and fixed using our strap wraps.
4. Spare rod holder
The new rod holder function exactly as it should. The rod butt can now be fed through the loop where the rod is held in position by the reel. This helps to reduce the size of the rod above your head making it much easier to manoeuvre through the streets. As an example, when used with the smallest FS Xtender rod, the rod sites only 15cm above your head.
5. Water resistance
We have improved the standard Freestyle grey polyester fabric to make it incredibly water resistant. This material also now covers the zips which adds to the protection. The base is now made up of a very durable polyester which will only help in adding to the longevity of the bag and protects it in the areas where it is most in contact with the ground.
6. Comfort
The original bag was highly rated for its comfort, many people claiming it was their chosen bag to wear during a whole day active fishing. We have improved the cushion area a great deal by adding more padding and creating a 3D cushioned area which compresses the cushion to add comfort on the back.
